On the Application of Multimedia in History Teaching of Middle
School and the Blackboard Writing
【abstract】The well-knownknownknown educator F.A.M.Diesterweg once said,"any way that
makes students get accustomed to simple acceptance and negative work is bad, while every method that can
motivate student’s initiatives is good."Ever since 21st Century,multimedia has been gradually taken into the
history teaching of middle school as the development of science and technology. It is used to set up
situational context, which can inspire students through many bearings and senses, impress students more
deeply and arouse their interests in history. Also the multimedia of multimedia technology can improve
teaching efficiency,liberate teachers in a sense, increase their flexibility in class and then achieve the aim that
teaching and learning promote and enhance each other. However, some new problems are revealed
meanwhile .For instance,the time distribution is imbalanced; the dominant role of teacher is weakening;
the vision and audition wearing ness is affecting teaching efficiency.The aim of this article is to express the
author’s personal opinion on multimedia is complete replacement of teacher’s blackboard writing.
